You can see the rules here. I proposed to knit a pair of toe-up socks. Now I need to find a suitable pattern which is not simply stockinette, to knit with the red sock yarn my SP5 gave me. Which of these patterns would look better in red: this pattern or this one? Have you got a better suggestion? If you do, please post it in the comments.

Hi! I recently printed that chevron sock pattern too! I think it would look great in red.
That red sock yarn is beautiful.
I think the chevron pattern would be best for getting to grips with the fundamentals of sock making. Those leaf socks are wonderful, but I imagine sock-making can be stressful enough without having to make complicated patterns too!
